FREE OF CONTAMINANTS
Why does this matter? If a fish oil is heavy in contaminants, it must go through a process of high temperature refining and molecular tampering that strips beneficial nutrients from the oil. Because our oils are free of contaminants, we are able to do a similar process used for making extra virgin olive oil. We tend to geek out on this, so simply put, pure is best.
HOW WE SOURCE MATTERS
Our pet oils are sourced from a trusted network of fisheries that must meet our stringent health and safety standards.
The raw material in our salmon oil, as one example, is produced from the by-product of the Alaskan Salmon Industry- a sustainable fishery. The salmon are brought to the processing facility within hours of being caught. The fillets are removed, and what is left is immediately pumped into the oil processing system. It is the only way to guarantee the freshest product for your pet.
